Today was our last day. We left beautiful Lake Louise and headed to Calgary. Went back to Banff to ride the gondola....beautiful views and a tour of the city. After lunch we took a helicopter ride (our last stop before arriving in Calgary). It was my first ride in a helicopter and it was a little scary; but, with Bob as the co pilot, I felt safe. The views were astounding and I only got a little nervous going over the mountain. It's interesting to see how the landscape flattens as we leave the Rockies behind and head for Calgary. We are staying at Hotel Arts in downtown Calgary. Very interesting decor and nice room. After dinner, we walked to the Calgary tower, approximately 572 feet up. Views that look over the entire city. Always nice to end a great vacation on a high note. Tomorrow we head home. I will miss this cool weather. We really enjoyed this beautiful country and the people could not have been nicer.
