Edit Blog Post
Con & Barb
Wedding day 2004 Thanks Jan, for introducing us to the "blog" as this may be the very communication tool that will keep Con and me connected with family and friends when we set sail. We're working on a "private access" website that will hold certain aspects of our adventure, but for the day-to-day journaling, we believe the blog is (as Con would say) "the cat's ass!"
Step one: buy the boat. Next weekend, we'll head into the Boston area, which will represent our third trip away, to check out boats. We've seen hundreds of boats on the intranet, but just a few dozen with our eyeballs. Actually, we know exactly what kind of boat we want. (Crossing our fingers that it's bobbing in the New Hamshire waters as I type.)
Step two: Wrapping up our jobs. You'd think that giving a 2 1/2 year notice at work, would seem ample time, but holy crap, it's tough getting Kids Up Front into a place where I will feel good to turn it over to another nurturing care keeper.
Step three: Oh my God, this one is hard to get my head into. It's about identifying EVERYTHING in the house as either: garage

Our next entry (next week) may in fact move us into "step two!"
