4 More Days!

Its almost here!! I have been waiting 6 months for this trip and I am bursting with excitement!!! I am all packed, truthfully I have been packed for weeks!! I can't wait just to get there!

A huge snowstorm hit on Sunday and the weather has been off since, it is supposed to snow Friday night so we are praying our flights are all on time! We are sure going to be glad to leave the snow!! It was 29 in Costa Rica the other day...29!!! Lovely!

This week we are super busy finishing up Christmas shopping, seeing friends, family birthdays and such. Friday we have tickets to a Flames Game so we are going there after work, then home to open our gifts and have a mini Christmas for ourselves. We have agreed to bring only one present each so the rest get to be opened early!

A brief look at our trip:

We fly from Calgary to Pheonix, have a few hours layover, then straight to San Jose. Our tour officially starts on Saturday but we will meet up with them in San Jose on Sunday (fingers crossed). From San Jose we are going to Puerto Viejo, then up to Torteguero (sp?), over to Rara Avis for a few nights in a wilderness lodge. Next is La Fortuna and the arenal volcano, then Monteverde to swing thru the cloud forest and finally off to Quepos/Manuel Antonio. Should be an amazing holiday and we are hoping to see and do so much!
