It's been a long few months since Mike dropped me off in Calgary, Alberta. July 3rd saw the start of the next chapter - a new job and a new way of life for the time being. After 3 months of unemployment I started Flight Attendant training with Westjet, a Canadian carrier. A year off with no job, kids or mortgage. Just towering backpacks and each other. Where to? Southeast Asia sounds like a good place. But first we'll cross Canada from our home in Vancouver to Halifax. We'll make sure Elli the cat has a nice place to stay. Then it's on to Toronto for Xmas and Glasgow, Scotland for New Year.
