Today gave up searching for our Big Bus tour stops and went straight to Dubai Mall on the metro. We've got the ticket system sussed now. We caught the Big Bus from there and went out to the creek. It was an old fishing village but is now surrounded by masses of sky scrapers. The traffic was unbelievably busy and progress was slow. But we had a nice trip on a lovely old wooden dhow. We came back a quicker route, found some lunch and returned to the hotel. We had a quick swim in the rooftop pool but it was like swimming in warm bath water. In the evening we went to the nearby marina for a trip and a meal on the canal. The buildings were spectacular all lit up. The meal was excellent and there was entertainment from a lady singer and a whirling dervish. It finished off our Dubai stay in style. I'm having trouble getting photos off the camera so have none to show today but hope to remedy that later. The last photo was the view from our room. You could see the sea between the buildings!
