Did a short tour by bus (Merchants Tour) which took in some sights and gave an orientation of Dubai - highly recommend at least 5 nights but not July - September. Tour covered trip to Jumeirah, saw a Mosque, gardens, old & new palace, street stalls (spices & jewellery) Museum, Heritage site where a demonstrable old A/C can be experienced - really worked. I am old and my wife is younger. We love visiting family and friends and visiting places of interest as well as having the odd steam train trip, or coach tour, perhaps a boat ride. We see this as being a great way to keep in touch with our global family and global friends from Facebook. The big move from Sth Aust to Victoria - includes Kyneton, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota (Victoria) and Eden, Tathra, Merimbula and Bega (NSW).... full info
