These are driving around Dubai as if they were a commodore in Oz.
Well Dubai is a pretty amazing place to visit, the food is great, they have a variety of pretty much anything australia would have, the people seem to be ok and the shopping is awsome! I went to the 'Emirates mall' today which is supposed to be the biggest mall in the world, and yep I'd proberly agree with it to. The style of cloths here is unreal to, after having a look around the shops makes me hate everything I brought and wished I had of just waited till I got here before I brought anything back home and in Bangkok. The prices of stuff here vary from Oz, like food is about the same price as home, the cloths are maybe half the price which is good and taxis are pretty cheap to. Also can you believe this??? Because I cant!!! You cant buy alcohole to drink to drink at home here, you can only buy drinks from restaurants, or nightclubs, it's illegal to have alcohole without a liquor licence, and also in the paper the other day an australian couple got arrested for kissing in public! Apparently its illegal to show public affection (kissing) here. Just shows you

Not to exciting I know but hey it's a picture
the difference in cultures here, you really do take alot for granted visiting places like this. This city is amazing what they have built, but I guess you cant build everything, the city has an empty feel with no atmosphere, you seem to walk around but you never seem to get to anything if that makes any sence, but I do like the place more than I was expecting

Well one thing about the people of dubai, they all must have that much money that they all pretty much drive around in awsome cars, if i was to walk 500 meters down the road I'd probly pass at least 10 Hummers, 8 Porches, maybe a Lamborgini, couple ferraries, about 20 Lexus's and a BMW ( being the crapest car there)....

Took a Taxi around dubai today and seen "Palm Island Jumeirah" and the "Burj Al Arab Hotel" which is the worlds only 7 star hotel and also the worlds tallest hotel. "Palm Island" wasn't much to look at from the ground, I think you really need to be up high to appreciate the shape of the palm tree that has been built into the ocean. "Burj Al Arab Hotel'' was pretty amazing tho, it's a massive sail looking hotel with two helecopter pads sticking out from either side on the top. The reason it's 7 star because everything has been hand made, like the carpet and eveyrthing like that, also in the foyer it has gold pillers, yep made solid gold, couldn't go inside to check them out myself as it would of cost me around $100 just to have a look.

Also they say that around 70% of the worlds crains operate in Dubai, and that does seem like alot, but you really couldn't imagin how many therer are along the skyline, I took one pic of a few building are getting built which shows how crazy everything is going ahead here.
