Floyd Smith was an American missionary that was based in Diarbekir. The things he saw was unbearable. From the imprisonment of the Armenians and the living conditions they were in. As time passed he seen many dead Armenians. One Armenian man was given 700 strokes to his feet and the next day he awoke with blisters and bloody feet. The sole of his foot was badly damaged and there was a blood clot on his sole. There was a massacre on 21st of may and he was able to take a look at the wounds of the victims. One victim had her hand severed at the wrist and she later died at his compound. Another three victims tried to decapitate themselves. He has seen a lot of things that would make me sick to my stomach. Also he say the deportations of the people and they were shackled together with their hands behind their back.
