Konya
Mevlana Museum
So what the hell is that title about you might be thinking to yourselves... Well in Cappadocia I met two lovely American girls named Dana and Annie who I have been travelling with for the last 2 weeks... But let me start at the beginning...
After five days in Cappadocia I decided it was time to leave and head of to Egirdir, via Konya where I stopped briefly to visit the Mevlana Museum (it is the shrine of the founder of the Mevlana order).. In Egirdir I met up with Dana and Annie and we spend a couple of days on different beaches... The first one was not such a success as we had to hire a water cycle to get away of the men undressing the girls with their eyes... And even then we (or I should actually say I...) had cycle very hard as the more persistent of the young men hired one too and followed us... So the next day we got a boat to drop us of on a secluded beach on the other side of the lake and we camped and sunbathed there without any problems... Except for me freezing my balls of in the

night and getting some serious stomach trouble...
After this we got a bus to Antalya and it was half way during our time there that we decided that since we would be travelling together for a while we should have a team name... After a lot of serious though the name Team Yoghurt came up as our favourite sauce in the kebab is the garlic yoghurt sauce... But Team Garlic Yoghurt is to long so we settled for Team Yoghurt, briefly changed to Team Falsie before settling down for good on Team Yoghurt...
Anyway around Antalya we visited the ruins of Termessos and Aspendos and then when we had tired of it all we decided to go to Olympos which we had been told was a very chilled out place with tree huts... But never believe what people tell you... We found it very touristy and the tree houses nothing more than houses on stilts...
After a while we were all fed up with it and went to Patara which is actually nice and relaxed... Everything Olympos is not... And it's got a great beach too! And hardly anybody on it! And around Patara there are the

ruins of Xanthos and Letoon, which I visited but the girls didn't, them being lazy and all... Ha, ha, ha...
And than came the day that we went our separate ways... Team Yoghurt was no more... But it will live on forever in our hearts...
Now I am in Anamur where there is a nice castle, some ruins and a pebble beach with no one on it...
