The dough is slapped on the side of the hot oven and it cooks in about three minutes. These ovens are intensely hot.

This is the top of the cylinder. Each one was about three feet high, full of different spices.

We ate in the market with 10,000 of our closest friends from Kuwait.

Salad, kebobs, rice. You can use one of the flat breads as a plate and as a wrap for the food.

These were the size of small lobsters and just as tasty.

The fish on the foil in front of Sinclair was this massive flat fish that was perfectly cooked and was off the hook good.

Yacoub had to read the Arabic to figure what this meant. The English to English translation is: What is left of the remnants of an antique ("Entics) Kuwaiti home. Too funny!

We were invited into Yacoub's friend's home. They meet every night (except Tuesday) and smoke the hooka.

Market in Kuwait City
Mostly it was food. I didn't buy anything, but I certainly ate a lot of sample dates and nuts. Besides, I didn't have any Kuwaiti Dinar; I only had Saudi Riyahls. Fun Fact for the day: A Kuwaiti Dinar is worth $3.00. A Saudi Riyahl is worth about 30 cents.
