Petra and Wadi Rum

Monday 2.11.2009 Day 18
We got up and had a early Breakfast and start at: 07:00 am for Petra full tour, we had Mamoud an English speaking site guide for around 4 hours and we saw the main parts in the city, from the main gate (Al- Siq) and all the way to the Treasury, Street of Facades, Royal Tombs, the Roman Theatre, the Nympheom and Qaser AL- Bent, We got a donkey for $10 JD for part of the way back. We then went to the tour operators place and he tried to rip us off with the exchange rate saying that it was $100 JD more then it was. Once we sorted that our we went to Wadi Rum and did a 4WD safari tour in the desert of Wadi Rum seeing Lorraine of Arabia’s camp site, the Inscriptions and drove over the dunes. We then saw the fantastic Sunset in the Moon Valley had a Bedouin dinner and overnight in a camp in Wadi Rum.
