Day 8
Today was huge for me. We started with the Via dela rosa at 5:00 am. We ended at the tomb - the church of the Holy sepulcher. We celebrated Mass at the tomb... It was amazing, I can't imagine what it was like for our priests. Amazing.
Then Fresh bread from the locals!
Coffee! - Wonderful. The wailing wall moved me - the women there were crying - I couldn't help but think of the loved ones they were crying for.
It was disturbing to go through the security to the temple mount. To have to hide our crosses and have our bibles taken away. Strange... and sad.
Dinner in Bethlehem! - Great Lamb! sad to say good bye to our fellow pilgrims that went on to Egypt. - Miss you! Sharon
