Davids tomb?Davids tomb?Davids tomb?

Here is todd teaching the group at the site where david is supposedly buried. however, this view is not likely, and i dont really remember why. However their is a view which is much more likely that the place where this house is standing now is the place where the upper room was located and where the last supper, pentecost and where peter returned after having been freed from prison by the angels.
i was so tired last night so i didnt feel like writing the rest of what we did during the day on our trip over the weekend. so i am going to combine weekend trip and yesterday trip to bring everything up to speed. So we woke up really early on sunday morning because our professor needed help getting breakfast for the whole group from sellers in the old city. we were out of the hotel by 7:00am. one problem. NO ONE IS OUT AT 7AM. and no one is selling. we walked from Jaffa gate, through the christian quarter, around the jewish quarter, back to the muslim quarter and probably through the armenian quarter too. we seriously went everywhere looking for food. and our professor, todd, who i will now always refer to as todd, knew exactly where he was going. we took all the back roads, and didnt get lost once. so todd finally found somewhere to buy pitta and some cinnamon pastry things. We got the pita fresh and it was seriously so hot that i couldnt even hold it without buring my hands. but it was sooo good. it would have been better if we didnt have
"Davids Tomb""Davids Tomb""Davids Tomb"

this is actually inside the house where todd was teaching outside earlier. this is the room where it is believed that David was buried. There were actually two rooms because the men and women had seperate entrances. there were a TON of jewish girls in the girl area and they were praying. so i took a picture
to walk up like 500 flights of stairs. i almost died. trying to breathe, walk and eat. i almost threw up in my mouth and then almost died. it was horrible. by the time we got back to the hotel my pita was cold. i was so sad.

anyway after breakfast we left for the day. The trip was an old testament walk through the old city of Jerusalem.
