Ciao! I have arrived in Venice and after a full day of sleeping to recover from my jet lag, I went to San Marco square. It was beautiful. It is Carnivale right now, so there were many people dressed in elaborate costumes.
The weather is much warmer than in the States, but it is very foggy. It gave Venice a very eerie feel. Last night we went to a restaurant very close to our hotel and had pasta, it was delicious for our first taste of Italy. The gelato also does not disappoint. Tomorrow we will take a train to Verona for the day!
