We are Emma Holmbro and Ake Dahllof. We live in Stockholm, Sweden. We have travelled more or less regularly since the mid 1990-ies and it seems like the more we travel the more difficult it is to decide where to go next. Seems you enjoyed Romania more than I did.
Although, seeing how I was subjected to an attempted scam by a fake security guard and chased by a pack of rabid dogs I guess most visits would be more pleasant. :D Was nice reading about your drive through Romania, one day I'll go back there and give it a second chance. :)

Scams and mad dogs can really spoil a trip. We didn't have any such encounters in Romania so I believe you had some bad luck. We had such a good time in Romania that we can really recommend you to give it a second chance. /Ake
