Its started waiting for QF1 via Bangkok, had pre flight drink in the Qantas Club. The food selection has improved and a overall nice feeling. We boarded and and were in the upper deck 17 J & K our cabin attendant was Kitty who offered us champagne . Take off was smooth and we had pre meal drinks, we looked at the menu.
One of the meals was a a Racked Castrium Bros spring Lamb with escalivada and mojo verde roast potatoes. Could you imagine Kev from Dubbo ordering it
"Yes love the missus and I will have the Castrated sheep on the escalator with green spuds"
Jeff ordered the Blue Eyed with and I ordered the Braised Duck with Chilli, the wine was a Shaw and Smith Sav Blanc, after wathcing in flight movies we slept and woke 2 hours before landing in BK
Immigration was smooth and easy, finding a taxi we rode to the Sheraton Sukumvit. Along the way many cars were parked on high ground car showrooms deserted and sandbags everywhere in case of floods. Up to our room on the 24th floor
