Euromoon 2011

Dear friends and family,

It's hard to believe that not even a week has passed since we arrived in Europe. With a connection in Iceland, we arrived in Paris early morning on June 10th and willl return to the States on July 13th . This is a trip we have separately and collectively been dreaming about for a long time. So, after our wedding, we delayed our honeymoon for a year so that we could have the experience of a lifetime. There never is a good time to be away from work, family, and life's resonsibilities and obligations but we had to seize the opportunity to take this trip before life became too complicated. Once we purchased our airline tickets, there was no going back. So, here were are, 5 days into the trip and just getting started! Our ambitious itinerary includes:

France
Switzerland
Italy
Greece
Austria
Germany
Netherlands
Belgium

With limited time in these 8 countries, we decided in advance that our goal for the trip would be to spend more time immersing ourselves into the countries and their cultures rather than trying to visit every site in the city. We can't tell you how excited we are about this experience. And while we can't have our friends and family with us, we hope you'll join us virtually at every step of this adventure!! Our goal is to post a blog entry about twice a week but Internet access thus far has been sporadic so we will do our best. Here we go!
