9th June. Kolocsa. This morning we arrived in the Port of Fersj to do the tour of Kolosca. Mum and Dad are learning the drill, be ready 10 mins before departure so we can get a good seat. We bussed into Kolosca stopped at the paprika museum then onto a little village showing a typical Hungarian house with all the beautiful embroidery, so colourful.
We then travelled to the horse show. These Hungarian horsemen are very skilled. We started with bread spread with pig lard (yum?)and sprinkled paprika and onions if you wanted Mum and Dad loaded up the onions. We washed that down with red or white wine or juice. We watched the show then had a carriage ride to get some more food a salty scone and some apricot brandy one sip was enough - very strong. Back to the ship for lunch and set sail for Mohacs. We have to stop for border checks etc. as we are leaving the European Union. This could be interesting…
Tonight is the welcome drinks and dinner for the second cruise.
