Well we did make it through our 28 hour flight - almost non jetlagged!! Well I did, Chris had a lot more trouble sleeping so was a bit tired in the end. It was defiantely impressive flying into Hong Kong at night with all the huge boats lit up in sea the and the high rise buildings. Ive seen enough of those aircrash investigation programmes to know that the huge thunderstorm just to the left of where we landed should concern me (the pilot probably wasnt worried at all).

We landed in Rome at 7 in the morning and after much confussion got into a taxi to drop off our bags. Turns out the taxi line we were in was for people wanting a ride to Rome and not 3kms down the road. Fair to say the driver that took us was unimpressed that we werent going to be paying him big bucks...therefore he took out revenge and dropped us at some random hotle not even close to where we were staying and said he would take us to the right place for 40 Euro (it is usually a 15 Euro trip) Luckily the hotel we stopped at was really

nice and there shuttle took us right to where we were staying.

Rome was a great day....and we def had sore feet. We went and did a walking tour of the Colleseum (the line was not worth lining up for to individually go through). And you learn more with a walking tour anyway. We also had a look at the Spanish steps and chucked a coin over our shoulders at the Trevi Fountain. Because we landed so early we still had a bit of time to kill so ended up at Vatican City....The tour guide there was amazing and was really informative.

By the time we got back to the hotel we were buggered and it was time to hit the hay...
