July 11 NIce, France

July 11th, Nice France...Well it's 11pm local time in Nice and we're bagged! A long day. We just got back from Monaco. We went into the Casino and got to see a chunk of one of my favorite F1 race tacks. The marking on the curbs of the streets of Monaco that mark the way of the Grand Prix are permanent. Our trip today started in Monticatini which is just outside of Florence. We went to see the leaning tower of Pisa and drove through the port city of Genoa. From there we left Italy (for this year anyway, as I suspect we will return someday) and made our way into the South of France. The French Riviera is spectacular. Nice is a lovely city and the beach blew us away. There is much to do here, much more than we could ever do in a day.
We'll try and post some pictures tomorrow. Hopefully, by the time we get to Paris later this week, our internet woes will improve.
