I just arrived yesterday and have so much fun so far! Yesterday we roomed around the streets looking like your typical tourists: we had our cameras and maps out as we walked the streets! We did eventually find the trevi fountain, and I of course, threw a coin in backwards just like tradition!
The night life is amazing. Last night we went to these 2 bars called Sloppy Sams and The Drunken Ship. They were very americanized- playing american music and the bartenders were from the states. The specials were much better than the U.S. as well- they both had 2-for-1 deals with a student I.D.
This morning we went to see the Pope. They announced every group that was there- including the University of Delaware. We also had our first day of classes.
