Eating Escargo in Paris, France!Trip of a Lifetime?
I could not express this more than the true words themselves. I went on a Contiki Holiday this summer, August 2007, and I had a BLAST! There are too many words flowing through my head; beautiful, amazing, dream, friendships, fun, memories and more that could help me explain the passion I have for this company after going on a Contiki Holiday! My trip, which is called the European Highlights, a budget holiday, started in London, England, and traveled to France, visiting Paris, Beaujolais Wine Region, Lyon and Nice, then to Italy where we visited Florence, Rome, and Venice, to Austria, to Germany, we visited Munich, and St.Goar- Rhine Valley, followed by the Netherlands, where we went to Edam and Amsterdam! ALL in 2 WEEKS! There were so many things that made this trip so unique, maybe it was the amazing people, the Tour Manager who was unbelievably knowledgeable on everything, the friendly Coach Driver, or the international passengers on the Coach. That was one of the most amazing aspects of the trip, besides the destinations, was the people on the coach, there were passengers from all over the world on our coach traveling on the same holiday

Lyon has the cutest street full of restaurants and gelaterias! with the same mind set, to have fun, travel and learn! The international passengers on my holiday were from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, Japan, Columbia, the US and More! Contiki really gave you that opportunity to go further, by making lifelong friends from all over the world, and traveling in a fun and flexible way with people of a similar age range, 18 to 35 year olds. Being young and having a passion for traveling, was only enhanced a million times with Contiki's help. I would do another Contiki Holiday in a snap. Contiki provided all the information I needed to know before going on my Holiday, like what to pack, how much money to bring, and all those sort of nitty-gritty details! Contiki offers the ideal method of traveling for students whether it be a budget trip, where you get the whole backpacking experience without any of the worries regarding money, traveling, looking for safe hostels, knowledge on where to go exploring and what each city has to offer. Contiki Holidays planned accommodations, transportation on a comfortable Coach, provided information on every city we went to, gave us the freedom to explore where we wanted to based
Nice, French Riviera!
The view from the French Rivieria, and Monaco were Gorgeous! on our own interests, and gave us the opportunities to make friends with people from all over the world, and have tons of fun in every city. Contiki offers an experience of a lifetime and its up to you to experience it for yourself!
