Well, I handed my notice and decided I had 2 weeks to complete everyhting (well almost) that i wanted to do in Tignes before i left!! So we set off on a series of adventures!! we started with a trip up the Furnicular to the Grande Motte a glacier in Tignes! where we hiked!! yes hiked!! to the Grotte du Glace asn ice caves in the glacier, it was perishing cold and avalanche risk of 5/5 but after ducking many closed barrier signs as instructed by the pistere we made it!! Inside was so cool, i loved the sculpture especially the use of human figures within the ice, the patterns were just fantastic 😊 well worth a visit if your ever in Tignes!
We then had to hike back up which for the record is far more difficult thandown!! i dont think we could even feel our ears by the top so decided a well earned hot chocolate was in order!!
we made it down the mountain and walked back across the frozen lake....an easy task one would assume...untill you realise you have to walk / hobble through 1/2 metre of snow!! had so many laughs attempting this feat, but we
made it, wet but made it to then catch a chair lift down the valley to le boisse and les breviere, had some really nice lunch, and came back up, please note if on a chairlift with one bad leg in cast and crutch that on exiting you must be a very quick kangarooo!! i mean super skilled hopper!! 😊
Over all we had a fantastic day, and without emma i definately couldnt have made it!!!

furnicular.... is that the one with the olypic run near by? that is an awesome run!
