Welcome 07!

Well to anyone we have missed and for those we have not, we will wish you a very Happy New Years again!! Many of you would know we decided to see the new year in with style, heading into London to see the Chemical Bros. Our night began by meeting a friend of Justin’s whom we’d met a few times in Melbs at Paddington station. From here our adventures over London began! We jumped on a train where we were picked up by 2 of Michael's friends. Drove to Tanya’s house, dropped off the car, back on the train. We arrived to another persons house and were happily greeted by a somewhat familiar face, and lots of nibblies!! Turned out to be at least 11 of us, all Australian!! Funnily enough. The familiar face, was another Michael whom we’d met on our first mission to Fabric within the first few weeks within the UK. We were ecstatic to have run into him again, as we’d very much enjoyed their company on the first occasion. Also amazed to run into someone we knew within such a big city when we really know very few people! Michael kindly provided everybody, including

The crazy Chemical Bros themselves!
2 guys dressed in afro’s gold chains, flairs and a lot of chest hair with great pizzas and bubbly champas!

We ventured into Turnmills, the place was packed! Well organised which was nice, rather amusing on entry when they picked Charles and some other boys for security to inspect over myself who had a big bag over my shoulder full of jackets, gloves, etc; but it really could have anything in it, they weren’t to know. Chemical Bros saw the night in very well, a very different type of music from our previous escapades. We really have been so lucky to essentially go clubbing all over the world, and to see such varieties of music, all of which we’ve fully embraced and loved! I am not very familiar with the Chemical Bros more recent works, but certainly enjoyed ‘bopping (all space would permit),’ to some of their golden classics!

Overall, a awesome night out, just disappointing to have met so many lovely people on our last few weeks here. We are catching up with most of them again on our last weekend pre heading home, but will hopefully see them back in Melbs, they are all very keen
