We are in Arzacq after an overnight in Miramont. Both days were picturesque paths, tree-covered or out in the fields. Last evening was in a Gite, dormitory style with a festive pilgrim dinner. The priest came to check on us at dinner. Scott ended up going to his home after dinner for a nightcap of after-dinner digestive spirits. He zonked out when he climbed into the upper bunk so digestion must occur immediately upon positioning oneself horizontally and it must be a lot of work!

Scott located a quiet little hotel in Arzacq. It is supposed to rain tomorrow so after our wonderful meal included with the stay, we made arrangements for a second night. First down day in over two weeks. And why wouldn't we with such a comfortable bed, laundry service and a soaking tub. Not that I mind the rain or cooler temperatures. We do need to spend some homework time figuring out where to stop between here and St Jean. A bit tricky without a guide book.
