Today was one of those days for me. We had a good night's rest but my body just didn't want to cooperate this morning. Eventually everything got in sync and I plodded along. We are back into landscape views now that we have descended below the high plains with only scrub and no shade. Most of today was tree covered paths. We did notice the dry season took a toll on some of the immature trees. Even the rich dirt paths under cover of trees look like a cracked dried up creek beds. We arrived at our lodging just after 2:00. We had a beer by the pool and now are off for a shower and rest before dinner.
