Milford to Penarth – 88nm



Departed late afternoon – raining, foggy and dark that night...but no wind, so had to motor and flow with the currents. An uneventful passage, not rough and we got in to the lock at the Barrage about 1245 the next day. We are booked into Penarth Quays marina. This is a lovely place, very close to the Barrage (3 locks with opening bridges) which is fascinating to watch. Also there is a lock into our marina, so we sit out in the cockpit and watch the goings and comings of the marina.
