... and everything beginning to feel rather damp. PM has been our home for over a week already and it's rained every day so far. This jet stream has a lot to answer for... urgh..! To add to woes, pile of dirty washing is growing rapidly, and the boat seems to have sprung a leak just over our sleeping quarters (H's side luckily).

First Mate is grumpy!

Left Windsor this morning in rain, and decided to get some miles covered since it was not pleasant sitting-by-the-bank conditions. So, we dripped through Datchet in rain, Wraysbury in rain, Shepperton in rain. So downcast were we that we stopped at local hostelry for some cheer, which helped, until on leaving, I took the controls and rammed poor PM into 20 tonne tug - moored in a ridiculous place I have to say. I was just trying to avoid a silly man in a yacht.

Finally moored up at Walton-on-Thames - and weather looking brighter. Though have just read in paper that unsettled conditions are here until 4th August... strangely the date we complete our trip!!!!

By the way, comments relating to the Ark are neither helpful nor funny.
