Gargoyles were originally designed as a decorative drain-pipe for the buildings (so when the water is running through their mouths they make a gargling sound - hence the name). Oxford, England.

Wind in the Willows

Hi, I love that photo (and the others too)!! I´m from Germany, so I will probably never get to see this, but please, could you tell me anyway where you took that picture? The Wind in the Willows has given me a wonderful friendship (with one of the main cast :)) and is very special to me! Thank you very much :)

Wind in the Willows
Hi Anke, yes! Wind in the Willows is wonderful isn't it!?! It was created/produced in Manchester so they have a large exhibition in the art gallery there with all of the original character models. If you ever visit the UK I would definitely recommend a visit - Manchester is a great city too! Wind in the Willows brings back so many memories... :)
