Well today was positively Spring like and a balmy 9°. The wind was much calmer and the sun shone. A great day for a bike ride. From Clitheroe we headed through Chatburn and Sawley and round the Radio mast anti clockwise. For those who cycle in the Clitheroe area this is a popular route. Then it was back on the same route with a lap of Clitheroe thrown in for good measure. There was still a little ice in places at the side of the road but this was much improved on recent days.

Out virtual route would be from Yeadon head due to south to Calverley Bridge and get on the Leeds Liverpool canal. Follow the canal round through Leeds to the John Smeaton Viaduct . Cross the canal and head east through Garforth, across the A1 and into Sherburn in Elmet. As this is purely fictional there are no photos but we are getting nearer the ferry every day.
