The Olympic torch is making its way round Britain and got to us today. Linda and I made a morning of it, by leaving the car and walking along the canal to Llanymynech, which is right on the England/Wales border (in fact, it splits both the pub and the golf course in half), joining a small crowd for half an hour to see the torch. Then a cup of coffee and a gentle stroll back tio the car. So we did it, with no fuss! It was actually OK too.

Lovely
it brings back memories for me, when Steve and I stood on the side of the road at Wamberal and waited for the olympic torch to come by. I hope you enjoyed your coffee. Linda looks very pleased with her free gift. xx
