Caerphilly Castle

In our series of day trips out of cardiff we took a trip to Caerphilly castle. Wales has one of the highest concentrations of castles of anywhere in the world and they make a good day trip out of the city.
So 4 of us from work decided to make the trip to see Caerphilly castle. The castle itself is a massive place and when it was built it is supposed to have been the best fortified castle in the world. The castle has been doing its own thing for centuries and fell into such bad disrepair that it was nearly destroyed, however it has been gradually restored and is now a popular place for tourists to visit.
