...you're sure of some birthday fun!
J's birthday falls in the summer holidays so we celebrated a week early with a party in the forest. It was possibly the easiest party we've ever thrown, the kids mostly just ran wild and did their own thing, great! There were a couple of torrential downpours that had the grown ups running for cover, but the kids loved it as the puddles just got bigger! When the sun broke through it was hot and steamy. They were off riding bikes, digging holes, climbing trees, which are pretty much J's favourite activities (when we can wrestle the gadget away from him)!
