'' hello from Scotland''

FROM WILL

hello its my only day in scotland and i LOVED it Scotland is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

first went on a bus tour a HORRIBLE HISTORIES tour!!! it was awesome then we went to

Edinburgh castle it had a milatary museum and two prisons (not still in use though if it was i would have been FREAKING OUT! because real prisons are scary) the prisons were used mainy in the 18th and 19th century as well as this it had an almost 900 year old chapel built by king james scotland and England had seperate monarchies up until 1603 when a king of Scotland became the king of both countries (James VI of scotland later James I of britan) we were at the castle for several hours after that we had dinner at ''the last drop inn'' a pub where the last hanging in Edinburgh took place outside (spooky) and finally we went to an underground street called mary kings close (supposedly haunted) it was COOL I had so much fun in Edinburgh (capital city of Scotland also where i stayed) bUt i have to leave because were going back to my friends house THEN WE GO TO........................LONDON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favourite spot
William I am so glad you liked Edinburgh. Great spot you stayed at, isn't your sister beautiful in that photo? I had just been thinking how tall you were looking but the monument in town makes you look miniscule. Did you realise that the great area of pavement you walk across on the way into the castle is where they hold the Edinburgh Tattoo each year so is the new looking structure we see to the left part of seating for a show? Also to the left of the rental opportunity if that a graveyard maybe some spooky neighbours. In that WOW shot you look a little like one of the soldiers in Warwick Castle. I see your father has caught the fascination with toilets too. What a great idea to keep kids amused while waiting for food no wonder you liked the Last Drop Inn. I like your mum's jumper it is a great colour and they both look so happy, but did you read the plaque behind them about the inventor of TV. On the way home is mum giving you a cuddle or holding you two up? This posting made me very jealous but then I remembered that miserable cold misty rain that always seems to fall there and I look out here at sunshine ahhh :).
