Back in early August, UncleMurz and the Norfolk tribe joined us for a few days en-route to the Islands.

The weather was almost August-like so we headed to the beach, the cousins donned wetsuits and waded in. J left his shorts on and waded in. And then so did G, in her nappy. Ah well, lots of cake and cheese straws to warm everyone up afterwards.

The Olympics were still in full swing, and it didn't take long for the cousins to devise a full Olympic event schedule, using every piece of garden paraphernalia they could find. J was very impressed by their athletic prowess, although a tad too wee to join in, but we did make a smaller set of hurdles for him to jump over at full pelt too.
