The kids are alright
The only decent pic we got of the four of them, taken as the taxi waited to take them to the station!Happy Second Birthday!
The girl cousins came up from London to help celebrate this momentous occasion, and as is customary whenever UncleS and the family visit, it was a scorcher! Blue skies, hot sunshine, not a breath of wind. Actually it's always like that in our little corner of Britain, but we like to keep it to ourselves!
On the day we all had breakfast in the garden, and Mummy & Daddy gave J a Thomas the tank engine card with a badge on, and a trike. Of course, the badge was the bigger hit!
In the afternoon, there was a party for a small group of friends, the highlight of which was Mummy's dinosaur cake... oh, ok, it was the bouncy castle. Lots of fun, for the grown-ups too, although perhaps not those of us who gave birth recently!
