There was a swan from Loch Long
Who had a few teenies in tow
Whether it was a boy or a girl
We will never know
It would turn up for breakfast
And also lunch and tea
Because it knew it was beautiful
It knew we would always please
We offered some bread
In the hope of some kisses
While it swallowed our crumbs
All we got were hisses.
This white elegant bird
With a neck so graceful and long
Was not from loch duich or loch alsh
But was from loch long.

Wonderful poem
Hey Zara, just doing my weekly catch up on the Cannon Travels and read your Poem. You rock! Don't tell the rest of the family but your poem is the best entry thus far, totally wins over Dad's recent footy trip.....Ki xxx
