Heading to the Highlands

We set off on Friday morning firstly dropping off our ferrets for their week away and headed up to Manchester to spend a night with my mother-in-law, her dog & 4 cats. Saturday morning we set off following signs to The North! After around 7 hours on the road (including a short stint on the water whilst on the Corran Ferry) we arrived at the beautiful cottage shortly after our friends after which there were hellos, tea & cake. After setting up some longworth traps (live traps for studying small mammals) & a camera trap baited with peanut butter we settled in for an evening of catching up.
