Edinburgher Wendies

Easter weekend and the boys planned a road trip of Epic proportions;
London to Edinburgh and back in a hire car, who could resist?
This was a while ago now so i'm going to keep this brief in an attempt to catch back up on my blog *sigh*

Trip to Edinburgh - eventful. Tarek rolls in late (who would have guessed?) after a big pre-trip party night, sleeps most the way there. We are cruising along the A1 direct to Edinburgh no possible way to get lost there so I have a nap, only to wake up in a supermarket car park with the boys asking for directions!!! Iiiidiots 😊

Went to a bad club the first night - Frankensteins, so pretty tame night. The next day we cruised around the city and checked out the sights, it was a great day and the city really is quite lovely. Very unique and highly recommended. We walked up to Aurthers seat, saw the castle and the view of the city from another angle on another hill where we ate the best weirdest Double Choc Wafer Icecreams - delicious!

That night we picked up a few strays from my hostel and headed out to the pub, and later a cooler club, but not a big night. Sunday its time to up and outtie on the way to Newcastle - but not before visiting the holy grail of Edinburgh - Wendies!!! Got into Newcastle hostel after stopping for lunch near a castle, me some cool Irish boys and an Aussie bloke for a few drinks before heading out for a HUGE night. They know how to party in Newcastle 😊

It made it tough briefly sight seeing the next day before we had to make the long journey back to London for much needed early nights after a jam packed weekend. Thanks boys, its was worth it!
