Raymond and Ihi everyone, some of you might be wondering what on earth im doin back in Glasgow!! My aunt and uncle phoned me when i was in Auckland and asked me if i would like to come home for my mums wedding which was in a few days time. Of course i jumped at the chance and here i am spending some time back home which feels totally surreal. Im here for 6 days and so far ive had a great time. its good to be able to catch up with everyone properly. Also good to ditch some of the stuff ive been carrying about with me and to be able to buy some nice new things to fill my bag with. :-) So its been a huge suprise for everyone as no one knew i was home, i had to stay in hiding for 2 days so that i could suprise the whole family at the wedding. It was a beautiful day and my mum looked absolutely gorgeous in her dress. She was simply glowing and there were no tears which was great and quite unusual for her haha. Everyone had a brilliant night as far as i could tell. The

Just hitched meal in the Crookston Hotel was superb although we were all thoroughly stuffed afterwards. I only got to see my mum for those few hours as she flew out on her honeymoon in the middle of the night which was a bit dissappointing but im just glad that i even got those hours as up until a few days ago i didnt think i would. She will be sunning herself somewhere in the carribean right now!!
Being home has also gave Raymond and I and opportunity to celebrate our engagement with our families which is great. We all had a drunken day out on Sunday afternoon and really enjoyed ourselves. So it has been hectic being home with all the drinking and catching up but ive had a great time. I was supposed to fly back to Christchurch on Wednesday but ive put my flight back to Thursday as i dont want to go back yet :-) hope you all like the photos of the wedding, my next update will be from New Zealand somewhere. im meeting up with Irene and Jenny when i get back. We've hired a car so who knows where i will be :-) x
