Yar....Sor weeee mst nor wer weeee arrr now! Weeee Hope?
Since our last entry have spent a couple of days at York, visiting the York Minster which was huge, a viking museum, walked along the York castle walls, and visited the york shambles. The age of some of the building and places is amazing. Our tour guides 'Alan and Deborah' were the best. Enjoyed staying with them and the rotating the turns for the kids to sleep at the very flash accommodation 'Cairn Hotel' Alan and Deborah had reccommended.

Left Harrogate and headed Through Skipton and then some very scenic country through the Yorkshire Dales en-route to Edinburgh. Visited the Edinburgh Castle and Princess Street, the wet and windy weather arrived so we headed North to the Wallace Monument, where it was even windier and after climbing to the top had to hold onto John so he did not get blown over the edge. Had a late lunch at the a small pub, called the William Wallace and then continued north to Inverness.

Will be driving down Lochness today.

All the best

Tanya, Darren and kids

PS forgot to mention John has acquired a set of 'childrens' bagpipes.
