Yes we are still alive...

So this is just a little blog to let everyone know that we are in fact alive and kicking despite the lack of communication. We are currently in Fort William, Scotland in the Highlands -- it is a town nestled in the mountains which sort of reminds us of Banff. We did not end up completing our bike journey from Belgium to Paris as our bikes turned out to be crap (we purchased them at the Belgium equivilent of WalMart so what can you expect eh?) but we did make it to Dunkurk in France and then back to Belgium again which was over 100km in a few days so not so bad I guess.

Since then we have been baking in the heat (above 30 everyday -- sometimes as much as 38) in Belgium until July 27 when we headed for Scotland where we have been ever since freezing our asses off half the time. We spent about a week camping outside of Glasgow and exploring the city and now we are in the Highlands.

That is about all for now -- we are planning more detailed blogs about our Scottish adventure once we have more time and pictures will be included. We are headed from Fort William to Inverness, then to Edinburgh. After Scotland we will be off to England and then Ireland.
