Blog 6 Edinburgh/St Andrews Scotland Oslo/Copenhagen/Edinburgh flight interesting! SAS airlines underestimated the number passengers on the Copenhagen/Edinburgh leg travelling with golf bags. Prestwick home of the very first British Open in 1851. Opening hole at Prestwick - out of bounds and you are over the fence and on the railway line. Leanne hit the jackpot here! but managed a 7 counting the penalty. It is a great opening hole.

5th hole a par 3 of 180 yards over a huge sanddune into a huge headwind. GG hit the 5 wood, crashed in the rough, hit it again and landed another in the same spot. Found the ball and finally walked off with a 7.

This 123 yard elevated par 3 is the course's signature hole and it is a ripper.

GG hit a great shot on - almost pin high and parred the hole - check his ball nearest the flag. LG was a bit short just on the front near the bunker.
