So needed the rest after the three full on days we had in Paris, it was nice to get home and relax for the day. Jase, Becc & I all went to their local gym & worked out for an hour, this gym has fantastic facilities, this is what we need in Tanunda.....but it wouldnt happen. Felt invigorating just to run on the tread mill, lift weights & do floor exercises... my trainer back home would be very pleased with me. Went for coffee across the road & then back home to start packing, washing for London in 2 days time. I will then feel like I am on my way home when I arrive in London as from there we head off to New York......I feel energised, well rested & the happiest I have felt for a very long time, very pleased with how the trip is going. Mark would be so proud of me & the girls for this whole experience & I am very grateful to him for the opportunity to have this journey of a life time.........Went shopping with Jase down the road to the Cheesemonger & the Wine Shop. Got to the cheesemongers & wow, what
a place, got to taste sensational cheeses from all over the world. Purchased roughly six different types of cheeses, bread, olives, dips & oat cakes. Walked up to the wine shop called Odd Bins, got to taste my very first straight Whisky... Jase asked the genlteman behind the counter & he brought out an eight year old Whisky called Monkey Shoulder. This was a blend of two Whisky's......Balvenie & Glenfiddich. Had a drop of water in with it to open up the whisky & yes it was fantastic, left you with a nice, warm fuzzy feeling in my mouth. I could get to like this type of whisky. Had another Whisky & this time it was ten years old, had the biggest kick to it, I nearly feel over with the fumes of the glass, tatsted it & my mouth like it was on fire....gave this one to Jase........he loved it, one gulp & it was gone. Choose a couple of red wines, one from Argentine & the other from Chile, very full body reds & high in alcohol content. Got home with our dinner & then Jase & I went shopping in Aberdeen, it was great, got some more
gifts for the girls, I am really spoiling them this trip, they deserve it. Brought myself another suitcase so I can transport all the gifts I have brought, so needed the room. Arrived home & had the most amazing cheese platter accompanied by Moet Champagne & Chile Red Wine........we sat outside in the sunshine & soaked up the daylight, getting used to the nights here. Becc & I took it in turns re-living our fabulous adventures that we had in Paris over the last three days.....we had so much to tell & Jase loved every minute of it, very entertaining & funny times, will never forget. It felt like a Netball trip of a lifetime Becc & I had together, we would not have a changed a thing, do it all over again next year if we could......... Got to bed late still on a high from Paris......

Paris
Hi Michelle, I have loved reading your updates- you describe everything in so much detail. Danny and I were in Paris in April. SUch a magical city isn't it? Am pleased to hear you are having a fab time on your travels- I'm looking forward to hearing all about New York. It makes the daily grind of going to work each day seem so dull in comparison! :)
