6 August Our first day on Irish soil since 1980! We were excited at the prospect of revisiting the country many of our ancestors emigrated from. Took an Easyjet flight from Glasgow to Belfast, short flight -30 mins after waiting for them to extract the bird from the engine! Travels with Kate and Blu

We travelled around Australia in 2008 in a 4WD and caravan, a wonderful trip over 11 months and 50,000 km! In 2013 we embarked on another adventure, travelling through Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, then whipped through central Europe to the UK and Ireland, a trip of 6 months. ( still some chapters to write up 2 years on). Not sure what is next..... 2015. What came next was a 3 month trip to the UK, with the main goal being to walk 300 km across England on Wainwrights Coast to Coast route!
