Storm clouds gathering
rain all the way from vidin(bulg) to belgium then clear onto Belfast Today is Stewart's birthday but last night proved to be a great surprise celebration.Fortunately he did not know what we had planned. Now in the process of meeting and greeting family before travelling down to Cornwall to complete my holiday. Great trip over and ahead all the way to end of M6(England) leg then things went pear-shaped. The A54 was the preferred route to the M53 to get to Birkenhead for the Belfast ferry.Unfortunately I had forgotten that it has no dual carriageway or other aids to moving traffic,is also going directly to N.Wales and of course has to cope with lorry traffic as well as cars!It was hot ,I was panicky because I couldn't afford not to catch the ferry( from a money and time point of view )with the birthday surprise in the offing. Boarded OK but was the penultimate car onto the ship.Voyage great - cabin is a godsend for storing valuables ,getting a shower and (as a pensioner) and added bonus a 3 course meal for 7.99 pounds! Weather in Belfast has also been kind and so a great start to the holiday . Not a thing I would do again (probably )as it involves considerably more time

No change there then .Still building up and effort than scoooting through to Cornwall directly. However the success of the party made it all worthwhile.Well done Sam for all the organisation! Will leave it now ,until staying in Cornwall, for the next update.Hope whatever you are doing and where you are that you are also having an enjoyable time.Back soon Supergran.
