So this morning we got up and packed up to head to Belfast. We went to reception to pay for our night and the lady looked down her list and said 'You aren't on the list so it is like you weren't even here. It makes my life to difficult if you pay so don't worry about it' – What a score!
So far we have not come across a single rude or not very pleasant Irish person. Everyone we have dealt with has been so accommodating and helpful... I like Ireland!!!
We stopped at another supermarket along the way to get some bits and pieces for lunch then went and found our backpackers. Our backpackers was right by the University and they must have just been startiing back because all the other houses/flats down the street had Uni students moving in with their cars full of stuff. We unloaded the car into our backpackers and ate some wraps for lunch before promptly heading out again... apparently we had some VERY important buisness to do which I shall refer to as 'Steve's Revenge'. We went to Chain Reaction Cycles. Well, we arrived there at 3pm and didn't leave until 5pm... even for me that is a long time in one single shop. And at the end of our trip we only came out with 1 biking singlet top for me, 1 cross-country shorts, 1 long sleeve MotoX top (for over armour) and 1 Xcountry biking top for Steve... again Nicole went a little crazy! Haha
After this long shopping trip we went to a supermarket at bought some food for tea because our backpackers has cooking facilities so we can have a 'home-made' meal! Nicole made mince stuff to go on her wraps left over from lunch (which is now becoming left overs for tomorrows lunch) and Steve and I had chicken cordon-bleu with hash browns and carrots (are you impressed mum? We are even getting our vegies in!).
As much as I think Ireland is lovely (probably because it is so similar to New Zealand) it is rather crappy weather! It was raining quite a bit after tea so we didn't bother going out, instead we made the most of their movie room and watched a movie (Ok, well, I watched a movie while the others were on the laptops).
Went to bed after this – Apparently London and Northen Irealand have not heard of things called flat sheets before throwning a duvet on, I didn't trust the fitted sheet or the duvet cover so I cranked out my sleepingbag liner to sleep in because the beds didn't look the cleanest! Oh well, cheap accommodation so who cares!
Peace out!
