After the Macular Society Support Group in Barnt Green that Wendy runs we left home at 4.15 and arrived at the Caravan Club site in Abbey Wood, south east London at 8.15. We would have been earlier but were held up for an hour crossing the Thames by the Woolwich Ferry.

We now have a weekend in London with the Macular Society conference tomorrow and a visit to the Buckingham Palace state rooms on Sunday. Then it’s off to France for 3 weeks. Not sure where we are going at the moment but we will head south after a visit to Versailles
