Afterleaving Scotland we spent a few days travelling down the eastern side of England before visiting Carol's Northampton relatives.

First day we got as far as York, it was raining on and off but still warm. While there we went to the National Railway Museum and visited York Minster and The Shambles (a very old and narrow street of shops).

On Saturday we went to the Robin Hood Festival in the Sherwood Forest, along with thousands of others! It was a good show but far too busy so we didn't stay long!

Sunday was spent at Carol's Auntie Ang's. Her cousins Rachel and Sara were there with their families, including 9 yr old Josh and 7 yr old George.

Tomorrow off to the Continent with unknown internet availability!
