Bath is a Roman-built city. The major attraction is the
Roman Baths, a public bathing built by Roman in the 65-75 AD. It's so far the most special place I have been to in England. Inside the building you can still see a 2000 years old hot spring bath pool. The entrance fee is quite pricey (£11) but I think it's well worth it.
